Color is simple & complicated at the same time. When I’m picking colors I’m being very deliberate and it’s about what looks best in combination and for the feel of the piece. Beyond just the color itself there’s a lot of consideration given to the value, saturation level, and the specific placements of those colors within the tattoo. A lot of thought and effort goes into every selection..probably too much 😅. Each design calls for different things and speaks to me differently. Sometimes it’s wild, sometimes it’s more reserved. Sometimes I have very specific colors in mind and sometimes I don’t and I’m open to hearing your thoughts.
