Here are some things to keep in mind before & during your appointment in order to have the best experience possible!
• SKIN PREP •
On the day of your appointment, please do not use any ointments, lotions, creams, tanners or make-up on the skin where the tattoo is going. You may clean the skin with a mild soap & water.
• BREAKS •
Once we start tattooing, I may take a 5-10 minute break every couple of hours or if I need to get more supplies, but I tend to lose track when I focus on the tattoo so you’re more than welcome to ask for a break to stretch, grab a snack, go to the bathroom, step outside, or to just get a breather at ANYTIME during your session. It’s ok!
• WATER & SNACKS •
Water is important! Make sure to stay hydrated several days before & after your appointment to keep skin healthy & resilient. Make sure to eat something before coming to your appointment, it helps. We have plenty of bottled water, fruit snacks & gum. Help yourself! Feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you’d like.
• MOVIES & MUSIC •
Sometimes it can help to find a good movie to focus on. You will have a TV remote at your side table. Feel free to find a movie during your session otherwise we can just vibe to the music. You’re also welcome to bring headphones & listen to your own music if you want. Whatever makes you comfortable.
• STUDIO •
The Legacy House is a private studio so get comfy & make yourself at home. You’re more than welcome to bring things like pillows, blankets, plushies, water bottles or anything that will make you feel comfortable. Put your stuff anywhere in the hangout area & get ready for a fun day ahead!
• APPOINTMENT •
Door opens 5 minutes before the appointment time & you’re welcome to come in to fill out the paperwork. Cash & credit cards accepted, please note that there is a 3% processing fee added to all credit card payments. If you need to reschedule your appointment please email me as soon as you can so we can make arrangements. I love doing what I do & I can’t wait to do your tattoo!
