APPOINTMENT PREP TIPS
Here are some things to be aware of prior to your tattoo!
SKIN PREP
On the day of your appointment, do not use any ointments, lotions, creams, tanners or make-up on the skin where the tattoo is going. Simply clean the skin with a mild soap & water before your session.
COMFORT
The studio is yours while you are there, so make yourself at home. You’re more than welcome to bring things like pillows, blankets, plushies, or anything that will make you feel comfortable. Put your stuff anywhere in the hangout area & get ready for a fun day ahead!
WATER & SNACKS
Water is important! Make sure to stay hydrated a few days before & after your appointment to keep skin healthy & resilient. We have plenty of bottled water (and Capri Suns!) available for you during your appointment.. help yourself! We have fruit snacks & gum, grab as much as you want. Feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer. Food will give you energy which makes longer sessions more bearable for your body, so make sure to eat some food before coming to your appointment as well.
BREAKS
Once we start tattooing, I may take a 5 minute break every couple of hours or if I need to get more supplies, but I tend to lose track of time when I focus & zone out on the tattoo. You’re more than welcome to take a break to stretch, grab a snack, go to the bathroom, or step outside, at ANYTIME during your session. Just tell me you would like to take a short break anytime, it’s totally ok!
MOVIES & MUSIC
Music or Movies! I always have music playing & a movie on silent with subtitles. You will have the TV remote at your side table, feel free to turn the volume up or find another movie/show to watch during your session. I’m seriously fine with either and sometimes it can help you to find a movie to focus on. You’re also welcome to bring headphones & listen to your own music if you want. Whatever makes you comfortable.
SEE YOU SOON!
I really enjoy doing what I do & look forward to my tattoos... I can’t wait to do yours!
